It’s much more complicated than that, but you can get the first book for free on ebooks, and it’s so worth picking up. He is on the run from his past, and turns to his team to help him. In brief, the trilogy follows a boy named Neil Josten who joins a Class I exy team, a sport somewhat like lacrosse that the author made up. The writing was terrific, the characters are so real, and the action made me scream at some points because of what was happening. I tore through the trilogy because wow! The series consists of The Foxhole Court, The Raven King, and The King’s Men. The last three books I read were part of the All for the Game series by Nora Sakavic.

I’d already read this several times, but I wanted to pick it up again because I loved it so much! It’s one of my go-tos when I’m in a bit of a reading slump because it is so cute and fun. The next book I read was The Secret Order of the Gumm Street Girls by Elise Primavera. It was human nature with just the right amount of action, tension, and science. As a huge space junkie, I’d been wanting to get into this book for a while, and I was not disappointed! It was a quick, fun read and I really enjoyed reading it! Even people who don’t like space that much would enjoy this book. The first book I read was The Martian by Andy Weir. But hey, they were all pretty good, so let’s get into it. It’s a shame because it’s only the first month of 2016, and I only read 5 books. January wasn’t the best reading month for me, not going to lie.
