If I buy from GOG the first thing I do is download the install files to my computer. I have over 400 games on Steam and I don't feel like I own any of them because there have been multiple times where I can't login to Steam and therefore don't have access to games I spent my hard earned money on. DRM free to me means that the game I just spent money on is I will never have to worry abou if I will be able to play it.

I haven't stolen a PC game in my life and I prefer DRM free. DRM free basically equates to "Sure, we don't mind if you steal this game, and share it with all your friends or random strangers." I know some companies do offer DRM free content, but from a dev viewpoint, it doesn't make any sense to me. Which, I suppose as part of that is supporting DRM, but Steam offers many other services as well, (Acheivements, leaderboards, cloud saving, easy install across multiple systems, to name a few).
