In an election year perhaps we can expect heightened sensitivities around the principle of public sector neutrality. One has been sacked, another offered his resignation, and yet another has been questioned by a parliamentary select committee. Lol these Faceless Gaunt guys. It’s been a difficult time for senior public servants recently – at least it has been for those willing to express their political views publicly. I can just not talk to him, right? It feels like I don't need to, I've done practically everything else except headed North where I'm guessing evilness is.are they actually critical to the plot or just for supplies? Nor did I defend myself during the elevator segment, even after meeting the caged dude again and then went and had a nice little chat with the Faceless Commander in the Deep Caverns, and, well. I helped them in every other situation possible, I even shared my Super Health Hypo with that caged dude, man! Didn't even kill any at Buzzers place, but I did disable the bots. Killing all those Faceless at the Core City Checkpoint definitely didn't do me any favours, even though when you think about it it was the toxic gas and the enraged Faceless themselves doing all the killing, but I guess that's not good enough for these ignorant, savage rock zoners! Pah! Yeah, just checking in with information people probably already know anyway, lol. So murderising all of those Faceless at the checkpoint is in fact, fine? They're not going to scan my meatball later on and see me slaughtering their fellow buddies with glee? I guess it only checks what you do in quests and not during freeform exploration, then? I told the Faceless near Foundry to go forth and multiply, I let the weird Doktor Claw scan my meatball, and I patched up that other Faceless even though he apparently needs to get out of Core City alive so not sure what good it'll do him when a Praetorian snipes him down as soon as he goes through an area transition, but hey that's not my problem, right? I don't mind non-spoiler based spoilers, I.E I know that Tanner leaves at some point but I don't know WHY (and would rather find out myself, etc) so if you want to explain why being hostile towards the Faceless in the Deep Caverns is supremely painful and it doesn't compromise the story, that's fine lol.Īppreciate your help and discretion though. Would you say being hostile towards the Faceless in the Deep Caverns is a better or worse feeling than trying to deal with Locust Hives as a Hammer user during your first ever playthrough of this game? 'cause I've still got PTSD from that SO very much! Well, if you really pissed them off, you gonna get some "fun" time in Deep Caverns involving stealthed-poisonous-backstabbing-psi Faceless Gaunts. That guy is completely focused on his job, it seems.

Seems fair, and if they're not capable of burying the hatchet over a couple of hundred dead members of their race then well, I don't want to be their friend anyway!Īlso, I found it amusing that even when you enrage the entire group of Faceless including the Doctor, he'll still apply adrenaline shots to other Faceless he's supposed to be berserk-killing lol. I suppose I'll try helping the non-hostile Faceless at Foundry, Core City and at Rail Crossing anyway and hope they forget the corpses I left behind in my wake. They attacked me first, for what it's worth! It's on them. Ah well, the ability to genocide others is the true test of someones worth, is it not? Originally posted by Greb:Not my first run but I've also never gotten to the Deep Caverns, and those Faceless died quite a while ago now, rolling back is probably not feasible really.
